SUFFERN, NY, March 19, 2003 General Patent Corporation
International (GPCI) announced today that its wholly
owned subsidiary, Acticon Technologies LLC (Acticon),
has entered into a license agreement with SBS Technologies

Alexander Poltorak, GPCIs Chairman and CEO, said,
Although this technology and the patents protecting
it continue to be of significant value to companies
involved in computer connectivity and communications,
this technology is also used for other applications,
including avionics and the military.
We are happy to extend a license to SBS, the
first vendor of ARINC 429 and MIL-STD-1553 PC Cards
to license our patents, stated Steven Farago,
Acticons chief technologist and an inventor of
the licensed patents. We hope other companies
in this industry will follow suit, Dr. Farago
added.
Acticons smart connector patents
