SUFFERN, NY, March 7, 2007 — Advanced Card Technologies LLC (ACT) has recently licensed its patents related to phone and gift cards to Jet Lithocolor, a commercial printer headquartered in Downers Grove, IL. General Patent Corporation International (GPCI), a leading patent licensing and enforcement firm headquartered in Suffern, New York, represented ACT in this transaction.

Other companies that have recently licensed the ACT patents include CPI Card Group of Littleton, CO and Las Vegas, NV; The Electric Colourfast Printing Co. of Ontario, Canada; Diamond Graphics of St. Louis Park, MN; Teraco, Inc. of Midland, TX; Trivista Plastics of Naperville, IL; Performance Printing of Dallas, TX; and Proteus Printing of Hiawatha, IA.

“We were pleased to extend licenses to Jet Litho and the other licensees,” said Kathlene Ingham, GPCI’s Director of Licensing, “and we look forward to licensing the remaining companies in the industry.”

ACT’s U.S. Patent Nos. 5,720,158 and 5,921,584 generally relate to gift, loyalty and phone cards with magnetic stripes that are connected to and detachable from a carrier. GPCI has successfully represented ACT in 16 licensing transactions and 2 lawsuits related to these patents.
